INSECURITY: "You Are Far From Your People"- Arewa Youth Breaks Silence, Says Lawmakers Have Forgotten The People [See Why]

Arewa Consultative Forum has said that the Nigerian politicians are too far from the people. The group spokesman said the lawmakers, governors, representatives and other leaders in the country have refused to carry the people along. The group said that the people no longer know what is happening anymore because the politicians do not carry them along.


Emmanuel Yawe, spokesman of Arewa Consultative Forum, has sent a message to Nigerian politicans. He said the lawmakers and state governors are no longer making effort to protect the people in their respective states. Emmanuel Yawe said the people ought to be aware of the plans of the government and what the government has achieved in the state.

 

Due to the different problem in Nigeria, Emmanuel Yawe, spokesman of Arewa group urge the lawmakers in the country to address the public. Emmanuel Yawe said many people are not aware of what the government is dong to stop the insecurity in the state. He said many governors and security agencies have continued do do anything they like because the people are not watching or monitoring them. He urge the Government to always carry the people along and public weekly report on the activities of the state.


According to Emmanuel Yawe, he said " This is the right time for the president to speak with government representatives. They need to organize a program which would allow them meet with the people and inform them about what is going on in the country. The people needs to know and get good information about the insecurity in the country and all the problems currently facing the country. All those who do not know about the country should be briefed. "


" All the political, social and economic groups in the country should be briefed as well. Doing this will make the people aware of what is going on in the country. If they are made aware of these incidents, the people will look for a way to work together for a better Nigeria and do everything possible to stop insecurity in the country. "
